The lesson is centred around a simple action: reaching with the arm forward. As common as this function is in everyone’s daily life, it is usually far from optimal, for various reasons, whether it’s from pain in the shoulders, a stiff neck or back, or from overuse of the arm alone.
During this lesson you will feel growing improvements in the connection of the arm to the rest of the body and to a simple flow of movement. You will lie on your back and on the sides. You can use a flattish head support for the side-lying position, just not too high or soft, to enable the head to move freely.
