Exploring the Floor with the Hand

Find a place on the floor where you can comfortably stretch your arms to the sides. This is the width you will need for this lesson.

The lesson will be done lying on the side and on the back. You will explore the floor with one hand and find how to make the movement bigger, smoother and easier.

From these explorative movements on the plane of the floor you will find connections with the development of spatial perception also in standing.

If you are able to lie on your side then this lesson is suitable even if you have operated shoulders or injuries to the area. You can pause the recording between one part and the other and rest for longer. Also, if you’re getting tired, you can use your imagination to complete some of the movements.
