My name is Lena Rosenberg and I’ve been working as a Feldenkrais practitioner in my Sense in Motion practice since 2008. I work with people from all ages and abilities to achieve comfort, natural pain relief, gain full body mobility and rehabilitation, with better quality of breath and posture.

I have extensive experience in working with people who want to recover from injuries, rehabilitate after operations or regain functionality post brain damage.

How These Lessons Work

Through gentle and reassuring touch, these private lessons enable you to let go of habits as expressed through your movement and tap into new ways of thinking in order to intuitively and easily be guided through other choices of actions. 

These lessons are usually performed with the person lying on a treatment table, or in other comfortable positions that enable the student to create a new and more effective way of moving, sensing, thinking and feeling.

You will experience a beneficial change  from the very first lesson, and an entire repertoire of new connections and patterns in your brain following consecutive routine sessions that will reacquaint your mind to your body, creating an enhanced feeling of overall health, vitality and well-being.  

 

How These Lessons Work

Any Questions?

An individual lesson runs for approximately one hour and is usually done on a treatment bed. 

Wear clothes that allow you to move unrestricted. 

No! Lena uses very gentle and slow movements to enable you to reduce tension and learn pain-free movements. 

It depends on your needs. Some clients feel positive changes with a weekly session. Others benefit from a series of consecutive lessons to address a strong pain or limitation; once they have stabilised their new abilities they can have a weekly or fortnightly session. You can discuss with Lena what’s the optimal frequency for you after your first session. 

Lena creates a safe and stimulating learning environment where you will feel instant improvements in your ability to sense, move and feel positive changes. This transformative hour will help reorganise your body and mind for improved calmness, energy, and efficiency. 

Lena Rosenberg has been a certified Feldenkrais practitioner since 2010, following four years of rigorous studies in Italy, Israel and Australia. Israeli-born, Europe-educated and now a long-time resident of Melbourne, Australia – Lena connects with students all over the world through her distinctive life-changing practice.

Before dedicating her career to the Feldenkrais Method, Lena spent time in Southern Central Italy completing her Bachelor of Arts in languages and literature and eventually moving to Turin to get her Masters in Simultaneous Interpretation where she graduated with Honours.

Lena’s rich and diverse background, living and studying in various parts of the world, provided her the insight, purview and empathy to not only connect with people from all different backgrounds but also the desire to put her affinity for the Feldenkrais Method front and centre to assist others with their conditions.

Known for her deep intuition, sense of empathy, patience and selfless generosity, Lena is a gifted Feldenkrais instructor who has assisted numerous students over the years, of all ages, with issues such as chronic pain, strokes, autism, depression as well as dancers, athletes and musicians with physical injuries or desire to improve their technique with a unique, science-backed approach.

Lena offers private sessions, zoom calls, group classes, workshops and corporate retreats for all ages, and whether it is a single session or over the course of a lifetime, her students achieve tremendous life-changing results.
