Hold Your Breath

A unique lesson to learn about a common yet unrecognised disturbances in breathing that have to do with the action of holding the breath or stopping the breathing cycle.

The lesson is done in various positions to enhance length and lightness. You’ll experience novel ways of lifting and moving the head, with increased connection to the spine and legs.

You can try this after you’ve finished the lesson: Try lengthening your head by pulling gently on your hair also when you’re sitting at your desk or in standing.
When you start pulling the hair behind the head, do it very gently, thinking of the hair as strings that lift and lengthen the head lightly. It should not be painful. If pulling hair is not an option, you can also wrap a towel or scarf around the base of the head.
