In this lesson the roles between the legs and the pelvis are reversed. While as we normally move our legs and the pelvis makes a much smaller movement, in this lesson you’ll learn to move the pelvis and stop the movement of the legs altogether, so that your nervous system will be introduced to a new type of organisation which is not associated with habits and memories of effort and pain.
Most of the lesson you’ll have the soles of the feet touching each other. The ability to stay in this position for a while and move with comfort improves as the lesson progresses. However, take care of yourself; if you feel any pain you can take more rests and make the movement smaller and slower.
