Oiling the Spine

You will restore movement to the hip joints and vertebrae as if you poured oil into rusty joints.

You will mostly lie on the stomach in this lesson, with the head turned each time to another side, moving the pelvis with the involvement of the legs and checking how the position of the arms influences the direction and quantity of rolling of the pelvis.

Note: If you find lying like this too difficult, you could have the head in the middle, resting it on the forehead or nose, or just slightly turned to the side with some support for the lifted area. Don’t go into a position that puts you in pain as this will not be beneficial.
