Leaning on the Chest

This can be an important lesson to improve your stability when standing up.

You’ll be lying mainly on the stomach and feeling how bending or pressing the legs influences the back and the front that is leaning on the floor. As these relationships become simpler, the head will be able to lift higher and turn more easily.

It’s important not to avoid certain positions such as lying on the belly. If you have difficulty lying in this position, you can put a soft blanket or towel under the chest/pelvis to fill-in the gap between you and the floor. Small movements can make big changes as long as you’re working with attention and ease.
